Sweetwater Cemetery was designated a Historic Texas Cemetery in November 2015.  A Texas Historical Commission Cemetery Marker Medallion was dedicated on November 2, 2023 at 9:30 AM.

With the tragic loss of the Wise County Heritage Museum building in 2023, we need your help more than ever.
